No Extra Security During Pope’s Albania Visit, Says The Vatican

The Vatican has stated that they are not taking any extra security amounts to shield Pope Francis during
his trip to Albania this weekend in spite of all the reports of Islamic militants’ threat from the Mideast.
On Monday, Rev. Federico Lombardi, a Vatican spokesperson, told that Pope Francis would use the
same open-topped car that he uses in the St. Peter’s Square when he meets people in the poor Balkan
nation on Sunday. The security of the Vatican is calm before Pope’s eleven hour tour.
Pope Francis has stated that he wanted to go to Albania to spotlight Christianity’s rebirth that was
savagely wiped out during the communist era, and to exhibit how Orthodox, Muslims and Catholics are
working with each other to govern the country.
According to reports sources have stated that the Albanian law enforcement had slackened off to
Interpol fears that Muslim militants who were trained in Syria and Iraq had come back and they might
pose a threat to Pope Francis. There is concern regarding the threat of the Islamic State threat, there are
actually no specific ricks or threats that would change the pope’s behavior or the way the trip is
organized.
Pope’s decision to visit Albania before any top European capital is in going along with his hope for the
church to go to the periphery. This also confirms his hope to boost once-persecuted Christian
communities. Like several other religions, Catholicism gravely suffered under Stalinist Never Hoo-ha,
who declared this little European country the world’s first atheist state in the year 1967.
Albania gets ready to welcome Pope Francis
Albania is in a serious preparation for Pope Francis visit to capital Tirana, on 21st September. According
to reports, Culture Ministry declared that the work had started for all would arrange visit.
The ministry numbered the fountains removal on the square as well as the cleanup of neighborhood
among the 1st tasks to deal with. Earlier, the Pope stated that his visit to this European country would
be a scope to extend his support to the country. He added that his short visit to Albania that had long
suffered aftermaths of the troubles of the past would be a scope to encourage the people of this
country. 15% populations of this country are Catholic, when another fifteen percent are Orthodox and
over sixty percent are Muslim.
Meanwhile, Albanias Bay of Porto Palermo, its deep blue waters and its castle are one of the countrys
most wanted tourist magnets, featured on European newspaper as well as Internet lists of places to
travel for those with a savor of adventure. Once host to submarines and military vessels, the Porto
Palermo was shut down to the people under Hoo-ha. It started its operation a few years ago after
communism saw its end in the year 1991 and the country started its ride to capitalism.
